It's the last weekend of summer,
to spend down by the sea,
I'll take so many memories,
of you back home with me.

It's the last weekend of summer,
there's a chill now in the air,
one more barefoot walk with you,
sea breeze blowing through my hair.

It's the last weekend of summer,
autumn's drawing near,
the sun is getting lower,
the days so crisp and clear.

It's the last weekend of summer,
and time to say goodbye,
I'll think of you in winter,
when snow falls from the sky.

It's the last weekend of summer,
I'll remember you,
Love me always, promise me,
You'll remember too.
