Summer in New England
is where I want to be,
from the sandy Cape Cod beaches,
to Manchester-By-The-Sea.
The rocky coast of down east Maine,
red lobsters and clam bars,
Having the best tan at Hampton,
walking together, under the stars.
Gloucester's fishing village,
Motif Number one,
Rockport's quaint little shops,
Cape Ann ....in the sun.
The island of Nantucket,
all day sailing in the bay,
A dinner cruise by moonlight,
the harbor lights our way.
Whispers of love between us,
romance by the sea,
Summer in New England
is where I want to be....
