WISH UPON MY STAR
You're all I've ever wanted,
to make my dreams come true,
Yet, on the sand I sit alone,
All by myself without you.
I watch the lovers walking,
hand and hand along the beach,
and think about you all the time,
so near but out of reach.
My heart has always loved you,
From the moment that we met,
The tenderness of your caress,
I shall not soon forget.
I miss you in the morning,
and when night comes to me,
If only I could hold you,
and kiss you tenderly,
Tonight I'll wish upon my star,
That we will find a way,
To be together once again,
Sharing each and every day.
