Just sitting on the jetty,
looking out to sea,
thoughts of magic moments,
and how we use to be.

Salt spray roses,
beach grass in the sand,
walks along the shore,
together hand in hand.

Memories of you,
etched in my mind,
pleasures of happiness,
you left behind.

Crashing waves upon the rocks,
drifting out to sea,
surrendering its fury,
then coming back to me.

Feel my touch,
etched in your mind,
salt water kisses,
I leave behind.

We never did say goodbye,
just drifted miles apart,
forever you will be with me,
always in my heart.
